This is a positive behavior program that has been implemented school wide and emphasizes what we can do in our everyday interactions to increase cooperation. The entire school is part of the
STAR PROGRAM
in some capacity.
All our teachers and support staff single out students who are displaying the behaviors identified by the Code of Cooperation.
Each teacher may recognize two students and at the end of the week one student from each grade level is selected to be honored. These children receive a medal ($3.00 School Store Coupon compliments of the PTO) and award certificate.
All the other students in the box will also receive a certificate. At the end of the year, the student that has received the most stickers will receive a special prize.
It is our MISSION to recognize and encourage continued cooperation. We are extremely proud of ALL our students at Nellie Bennett...please join us in congratulating our STAR STUDENTS for successfully acting in a responsible way.
