Point Pleasant Borough Schools' athletics programs play an important part in the life of our students. It has been proven that young people learn a great deal from participation in interscholastic athletics. Lessons in sportsmanship, teamwork, competition and how to win and lose gracefully are integral parts of the district's athletic program philosophy.
Athletic participation is also essential to helping students develop a healthy sense of self–esteem as well as a healthy body.
Athletic competition improves school spirit and helps students develop a sense of pride in their school.
